About Me and A Touch of Colour
I founded A Touch of Colour in 2002 with a simple goal: to provide high-quality painting and decorating services tailored to each client’s unique needs. Back then, it was just me, offering traditional painting, decorating, and property maintenance services in the Richmond area. For years, I worked as a sole trader, building strong relationships with estate agents and private clients who trusted me with their properties.
In 2016, I made the decision to grow the business, and over the next two years, we expanded significantly. By 2018, A Touch of Colour had become a limited company, initially employing three contractors and broadening its reach to cover all of southwest London and Surrey. By 2020, our team had grown to include up to 20 skilled painters and decorators, along with partnerships with talented tradesmen to handle larger, more complex projects.
As the business evolved, so did our commitment to offering the best solutions for our clients. In 2021, we introduced advanced airless spraying systems alongside our traditional hand-painting services. These state-of-the-art systems allow us to achieve flawless finishes on woodwork, furniture, walls, ceilings, and kitchens. All of our sprayers are City and Guilds assured, having completed rigorous training to ensure professional results.
